Firmly grips any tool shank up to 1" hex or 1.1/8" round shank. Makes control of punch or chisel easy. Knuckles are out of the way. Helps avoid damage and missed strikes. Insert tool shank into energy absorbing "V" section.
Nylon point on forcing screw and vinyl covered "V" section of collar provide a resilient positive grip which will not "pop loose" whilst impacting with a hammer.
