Shipping policy

The Car Parts Shop sends parcels using Australia Post, Border Express, TNT Express Couriers and related carriers at the Car Parts Shop absolute discretion.

Items will be shipped to the address supplied by the customer. If this address is incorrect, The Car Parts Shop will not refund the customer for the items. A re delivery fee may be applied.

The address supplied for delivery by Customer should be an address that is attended during normal business delivery hours. Redeliveries can incur a re delivery fee if no one is in attendance to receive the goods.. 

We will do our best to deliver our customers' items to their nominated delivery address within the time period specified when placing the order. However, The Car Parts Shop will not be liable to the customer or any third party for any losses suffered or incurred due to delay.

The customer should allow for 2-3 days for their order to be dispatched through our warehouse in addition to the delivery times specified at checkout. We’ll do our best to dispatch asap, however, sometimes there are delays which we can’t avoid.

The estimated delivery date depends on where the customer lives, and is calculated from the time the customer receives the email confirmation, not from the time the order was placed.

If the customer’s order cannot be dispatched within 3 business days of the order being placed, due to the item not being available, we will contact the customer and offer the opportunity to cancel the order or modify the order. If the order is not canceled, it will be dispatched as soon as the items are available.

The Car Parts Shop reserves the right not to accept an order, or having accepted an order, to cancel the order if it cannot supply the goods in the order.

For multiple item orders, The Car Parts Shop will ship the orders when all items are available for dispatch, unless otherwise agreed with the customer.

Risk associated with the purchased items passes to the customer upon delivery of the goods to the customer’s nominated delivery address. Anyone at the customer’s nominated delivery address shall be presumed by The Car Parts Shop to be authorized to receive the goods.

The Car Parts shop can noy calculate Import duties or taxes for Goods being shipped internationally.If a parcel is returned because of non payment of  import duties or taxes, delivery costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from any refund issued.
