GM Opel Diesel Engine Setting Locking Kit T&E Tools
- TT8030 For vehicles without this type of sump pan, use the flywheel TDC setting tool
- Secure the tool to the bell housing with the marker point bent in towards the flywheel ring gear
- Align the TDC mark on the flywheel with pointer
- On vehicles from 1998 on, the injection pump locking pin is required as part of the procedure
- With the TDC set up, pass the locking pin through the hole in the timing pump gear and locate it
